1st Annual Hyde Park Jazz Festival
Hyde Park’s first annual Jazz Festival brought together over 50 world-famous musicians and local up-and-coming acts for 15 hours of back-to-back entertainment for serious music lovers and families alike. From the headline concert featuring Orbert Davis to kid friendly music events and workshops to a historical “Jazz Fete” performance with Corey Wilkes, Willie Pikens, Maggie Brown and Jimmy Ellis, the festival supported Hyde Park’s world-renowned cultural institutions and rich jazz heritage.

Vagus conducted sponsorship and community outreach, event pre-promotion and media relations promoting the Jazz Fest and Hyde Park as a cultural destination at large.
Results:
- Attendance far exceeded expectations with several venues running out of space in addition to shows being added to accommodate the large crowds.
